The Clarity Framework™

Your operation is stronger than its weakest dimension. Most leaders can’t see which one that is.

The Clarity Framework™ scores your operation on the five things that decide whether you keep your contracts and pass your exams: Clarity, Cash Flow, Contracts, Compliance, and Capacity. It finds the gaps a review would expose: a missing photo trail, stale occupancy data, an SLA written for a portfolio you no longer service. Built in default servicing, built for any operation that answers to a contract or a regulator.

No call, no deck. Ten minutes, and you see your weakest dimension before your next exam does.

The Three Silent Threats

What’s repricing your portfolio while the dashboards stay green.

Vendor SLAs written for a portfolio you no longer own. Your field services agreements were negotiated against last cycle’s volumes, last cycle’s geographies, and last cycle’s regulators. Every acquisition since has stretched them further from reality. The gap between what your vendors owe you and what your portfolio needs is unpriced risk, and it compounds quietly.
Boarding errors nobody mapped. Bulk transfers seed defects at intake: misapplied escrow lines, broken document chains, occupancy statuses that were stale on arrival. They don’t announce themselves. They surface eight months later as servicing defects, repurchase demands, and findings with your name on them. If you can’t trace a loan’s data lineage from boarding to today, neither can your auditors, and they bill by the hour.
Compliance treated as overhead instead of margin. Most operations fund compliance like a tax: minimally, reluctantly, after the loss. The operators outperforming you fund it like an asset, because every defect prevented at the process level is cheaper than the same defect cured, indemnified, or litigated. Compliance isn’t what your operation spends. It’s what your operation keeps.
What We Look For

Findings rarely start at the claim.

They start months earlier, in a handful of places that are cheap to fix now and expensive to discover under review. When we open up an operation, this is where we go first.

Photo trails that are missing, untimestamped, or impossible to tie back to a work order
Occupancy statuses that were stale on arrival and never refreshed
Exception reporting that lags the condition it is supposed to flag
Boarding and data-lineage errors that ride in on a bulk transfer and sit invisible
Vendor SLAs written for last cycle’s volumes, geographies, and rules
Preservation reports that are incomplete, or completed work that cannot be proven
Conveyance condition and surchargeable-damage issues that should have been caught pre-conveyance
Handoffs between servicer, prime, subcontractor, and field vendor where ownership quietly drops
Evidence that lives in someone’s head and cannot be reconstructed under audit pressure
The Methodology

The Clarity Framework™

Every Servicing Compliance Partners engagement is built around a five-part diagnostic framework. It shows where the operation would struggle under review: missing evidence, unclear ownership, weak handoffs, outdated SLAs, data-lineage gaps, or documentation that cannot be reconstructed under pressure.

01 · THE DIAGNOSTIC QUESTION
C
Clarity
What is actually broken?
We separate symptoms from root cause, so you fix the process that keeps producing findings, not just the finding in front of you. Clarity is the diagnostic entry point. It’s the question that opens up the other four dimensions.
02
C
Cash Flow
Where is money leaking?
We find where money leaks out between the revenue you book and the cash you keep: curtailed interest, denied claim line items, chargebacks you absorbed and never recovered.
03
C
Contracts
Are they structured correctly?
We check whether your SLAs and contracts still fit the portfolio you service now, or the one you serviced a few transfers ago.
04
C
Compliance
What is the real risk exposure?
We test whether you can prove the work, loan by loan: photo trails, occupancy calls, preservation reports, exception logs, the evidence an examiner actually asks for.
05
C
Capacity
Can the business scale?
We look at whether the documentation holds if volume doubles, or whether it quietly depends on one person remembering what happened.
What You Can Engage

Five dimensions. Six ways to put them to work.

Start with the free self-assessment, or step in wherever your exposure and stakes put you. Every engagement runs on the same five-dimension diagnostic, and every one ends with an operation that is easier to defend when someone comes looking.

Technology Partnership

Compliance infrastructure includes the right technology.

Some compliance problems are advisory. Others are operational. Field-level documentation (occupancy inspections, preservation reports, photo capture, exception reporting) sits firmly in the operational category. It’s also the most common source of audit findings, chargebacks, and conveyance defects in the default servicing industry.

Servicing Compliance Partners has partnered with Preservyte, built by Hillsyian Group, to address the documentation layer directly. Preservyte automatically builds occupancy inspections and preservation reports from field servicer input. It turns what has historically been the highest-error step in default servicing into the lowest-error one.

Where The Clarity Framework™ surfaces the compliance gap, Preservyte closes the operational one. Together, they form a complete back-office-to-front-line solution for contractors who need both strategic compliance infrastructure and the tools to execute it cleanly in the field.

Our Approach

An operator’s view of compliance.

Natasha Jenkins is the Founder and Principal of Servicing Compliance Partners. She’s spent two decades leading federal procurement and operational risk work across large-scale government contracting.

Most compliance advisors come from one of two places: legal practice or industry. We bring a third. Federal procurement leadership, built from the inside. That dual perspective shapes how we read every engagement. We see how agencies define and enforce requirements, and how contractors actually operate under them.

We start where the work happens, in USDA Rural Development default servicing, and extend across HUD/FHA, VA, and the guaranteed banking and private servicing operations that share the same operational and regulatory DNA.

National Partners

We strengthen your network from within.

We do not organize against it.

That distinction matters. National partners do not need another voice stirring up conflict in the channel. They need contractors who can document the work, follow the rules, and cut the exposure that rolls upstream: the chargebacks, the conveyance defects, the findings that start with a sub and land on your desk.

Network strengthening
We build small-contractor capability that meets the standards you already require.
Exposure reduction
Better-documented subs mean fewer audit findings, fewer chargebacks, and fewer regulatory escalations flowing upstream.
Channel confidentiality
Information learned through engagements stays within engagements. Your protocols, scorecards, and contract terms are never shared externally.
Operational alignment
We train contractors to meet national requirements more efficiently. We don’t represent them in disputes, broker collective action, or refer them to plaintiff firms.
Ecosystem posture
We’re not a contractor advocate. We’re an ecosystem partner committed to industry-wide compliance maturity.
